Ingredients:
• 1 pound pork, cut into small pieces
• 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 1/2 cup chopped onions
• 1/2 cup chopped garlic
• 1/4 cup chopped ginger
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 8 cups chicken broth
• 1/2 pound egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
• 1/2 pound bean sprouts
• 1/2 pound shrimp, cooked and peeled
• 1/4 cup chopped green onions
• 1/4 cup crushed chicharon (pork rinds)
• 1/4 cup calamansi juice (optional)
Instructions:
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the pork and cook until browned.
Add the onions, garlic, and ginger and cook until softened.
Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the pork is tender.
Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
Add the egg noodles, bean sprouts, and shrimp and heat through.
Ladle into bowls and serve with green onions, chicharon, and calamansi juice (optional).
